in addition to being normalized and accepted in many areas. Furthermore, it is a form of aggression that is difficult to identify, when some of its manifestations are identified as signs of love, such as jealousy or control of mobility and decisions, members of Hispanics In Philanthropy stated.
Luisa Herse, research coordinator, explained that psychological violence is the most prevalent, as it is present in 51.6 percent of cases of gender aggression, and is sometimes the prelude to other types of violence against women.
He argued that this form of violence not only occurs at home nor is it only inflicted by the partner, but also happens in other environments, such as work. He added that according to official data, 70.1 percent of Mexican women aged 15 or older have experienced some type of violence.
