Next Thursday, September 29, the new leaders of the grassroots structures of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in the state of Sucre will be sworn in, the state liaison for the red band, Jesús Faría, reported during a press conference.
The also deputy of the National Assembly (AN), explained that the swearing-in ceremony to formalize the 50,000 new militants that make up the different grassroots structures of this political organization will take place in the city of Cumaná and will be attended by of authorities of the national high political bureau.
In this context, he explained that once the new heads of streets, communities and Bolívar-Chavez Battle Units are sworn in, they will be deployed in the 2,103 communities of the Sucre territory, with the aim of working for social, economic and political tranquility. of the population.
Likewise, he indicated that the leaders will have the task of unifying and organizing the popular masses to massify the party and consolidate the Bolivarian project.
«We must go in an accelerated way in the transition to socialism. These new leaders will assume the different tasks ordered by the National Directorate of the PSUV and the high command of the revolution and that are aimed at strengthening the revolutionary process”, he said.
He assured that, from the structures, projects must be built that boost the economic engine, in addition to improving the performance of the social policies implemented by the National Government.
“We are going to work from the base to strengthen the stability and security of the people,” he mentioned.
In this regard, he highlighted the importance of consolidating unity and full articulation with popular power since they are the fundamental element to guarantee the Bolivarian revolution.
In this sense, Faría highlighted that the internal electoral process for the renewal of the bases carried out at the beginning of September, meant a considerable growth of the party, where women predominated with a participation of 70%.
“Here we obtained greater participation than the votes that were registered in the elections for governors and mayors, an action that demonstrates the level of awareness that our people have acquired,” he said.
PSUV stands firm
Faría emphasized that despite the great economic difficulties that Venezuela is going through, as a result of the imperial sanctions and blockades imposed by foreign countries, the PSUV’s revolutionary militancy remains firm and consistent in order to achieve the consolidation of Commander Chávez’s ideological and Bolivarian project.
“In the face of the brazen, open and inclement aggression of US imperialism, we remain firm, fighting to consolidate and strengthen the Bolivarian revolution, which is the only possibility and alternative that the Venezuelan people have to overcome these problems,” he said.
Reopening of the Colombo-Venezuelan border will boost the economy of both nations
Regarding the reopening of the border between Colombia and Venezuela this Monday, September 26, Faría celebrated this initiative that will strengthen the economy of both nations.
He added that this action will progressively open the doors of trade and bilateral relations between the sister countries.
