In the state of Trujillo, 637 Bolívar – Chávez Battle Units (UBCh) are ready and organized to participate this Saturday in the nomination assemblies for the renewal of the parochial, municipal and state middle structures of both the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) as of the youth of the red awning (Jpsuv).
In this regard, the governor of the state, Gerardo Márquez, urged the active forces of the Bolivarian Revolution to participate in this internal process of choosing the political teams, in compliance with the guidelines issued by the PSUV national leadership.
He recalled that this Thursday, the preparatory meeting of this political awning was held in the city of Valera, in view of the process of renewing the middle structures, to be held this Saturday throughout the country.
«We had a wonderful assembly with the heads of UBCh, with municipal, parish and state bodies. This process of renewal of the PSUV’s structures was agreed upon at the 5th congress of the Party and the 4th of the Jpsuv. We are all going to participate from two in the afternoon this Saturday, November 12 », he emphasized.
Psuv Trujillo application process
For his part, the territorial link of the PSUV for the state of Trujillo, deputy Pedro Carreño, detailed the elements of interest for this process that involves the newly elected street, community and UBCh teams.
“It must be a process of fraternal, inclusive, unitary, solidary meeting, of equals that contribute to the strengthening of unity (…) the auxiliary bodies are maintained, we must have 20 municipal auxiliary bodies in the state of Trujillo,” he stressed.
He also explained that the method for this phase of participation will be through the application assembly, simultaneously in each and every one of the UBCh.
«It means that tomorrow, Saturday, in the state of Trujillo, there will be 637 UBCh assemblies at two in the afternoon, in six moments for the Party and for the Jpsuv. All Venezuelans over 15 years of age will participate in the process and to be nominated for the structure (…) The quorum established to start the assembly must be 120 people, installed, the regulations are read and the act of application,” he said.
Deputy Pedro Carreño recalled that once this process has been completed, the minutes will be prepared and transmitted to the CC200 platform and to the municipal situation room.

Meanwhile, the liaison of the national leadership of the youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela in the entity, Jessica Bello, indicated that the red awning has asked the bases to express themselves and renew the political teams.
“We have come to comply with the order of operations, the orientation of our United Socialist Party of Venezuela that requests that the bases express themselves and elect the political teams at the parish, municipal and state levels. We find ourselves receiving these clear and precise guidelines through the voice of Comrade Deputy Pedro Carreño, together with Governor Gerardo Márquez”, he stated.
Bello invited the members of the 637 UBCh of the state of Trujillo and the militants of the PSUV to participate in this application process, in which political teams will be elected in the 93 parishes and 20 municipalities of the entity, both from the PSUV and of the Jpsuv.
It should be remembered that the nomination assemblies will begin at two in the afternoon and will continue until six in the afternoon this Saturday, November 12, throughout the country.
