The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, led a key meeting with the National Directive of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the 23 governors and governors of the country. The day focused on political reflection and planning new lines of action to consolidate the territorial deployment and organization of the party.
During the meeting, the president called to strengthen the PSUV as the “backbone of the Bolivarian Revolution”, emphasizing the connection with the popular bases and ideological formation.
Maduro urged to guarantee the effective articulation between the structures of the party and communal power, highlights the presidential press.
The president also appealed to “maximum awareness, discipline and unity” to face current challenges. The advances of the V Congress of the PSUV and the IV of the JPSUV were evaluated, as well as the results of the recent days of popular mobilization throughout the country.
