The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) reiterated on Monday its support for Russia in the face of the coercive measures and discredit campaign against it, after the special military operations that began on February 24 on Ukraine.
«Russia is exercising its right to defend itself and now it is the bad one, our absolute accompaniment. The more time passes, the worse for the Nazis in Ukraine,” said the first vice president of the red awning, Diosdado Cabello.
“We will always raise the flag of peace,” added Cabello at a press conference.
In this sense, he condemned the actions of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to promote war in Europe.
“We condemn the NATO forces that have tried to take over the entire world and when someone responds, the news comes and they try to turn the lies into truth,” said Cabello.
He pointed out that they tried to impose the same actions on Venezuela and other smaller countries as on Russia.
“They met Russia. They did it to Libya, Iraq. They have done it to Syria, but Russia responded. That’s NATO,” he added.
“Here a murderer, whose actions killed more than 43 people, they tried to turn him into a hero, into being the victim, ‘poor little thing they didn’t let him kill anymore’, that’s how the world is right now with the issue of Ukraine and Russia” , he added.
