The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Diosdado Cabello, ratified the absolute support of the red awning to the interim president Delcy Rodríguez.
Cabello stressed that Rodríguez’s head of state is based on strict compliance with the Constitution of the Republic; For this reason, he instructed the entire structure of the political organization to firmly accompany the decisions made by his management.
He highlighted the participation of various social, religious and cultural sectors in the marches against the bombings. «Bombs do not distinguish ideologies. Those who thought that it would only affect Chavismo felt firsthand the attack in the east of Caracas, where people who had nothing to do with the conflict died,” he emphasized.
The Secretary General stressed that, beyond global condemnation and the call for dialogue, Venezuela will continue to mobilize within and outside its borders. “Wherever there is a demonstration in Norway, Mexico or the United States, there is Venezuela defending its right to be free and demanding non-interference by the powerful,” he highlighted.
Education and historical awareness
Regarding the return to the classrooms, the leader reported that the Ministry of Education will implement a special program to explain to the student population the recent attacks against the country.
«We must detail what happened and why they did it. We must keep Bolívar as our north and advance the Revolution,” Cabello pointed out, while linking the independence struggles of the past with the current resistance.
Defense of sovereignty and diplomacy
The secretary general denounced the impact of the bombings in sectors of eastern Caracas and highlighted that the aggression affected citizens without political distinction.
In this context, he highlighted the expressions of solidarity received by countries such as Norway, Mexico and the United States. “Venezuela demands non-interference from the world and defends its right to be free,” he stated.
Finally, Cabello announced progress in the reciprocal reopening of the United States and Venezuela embassies. In this regard, he said that this measure seeks to guarantee the legal and consular security of President Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores.
Finally, he called for calm and sanity. He assured that the PSUV remains deployed in all the states of the country under a slogan of unity. “No matter what happens and in any circumstance, we will win,” he concluded.
