Through a press conference, the regional liaison of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in Guárico, Hugbel Roa, reported this Thursday on the process of the assemblies to be held next Saturday, November 12, aimed at the nomination of those who They will be part of the parish, municipal and state teams of the organization.
From the regional headquarters of the PSUV, Roa explained that “this process on Saturday will allow anyone who applies to be considered within the party.”
He indicated that the people who will represent these political teams must be the best men, women and all those youth who meet the conditions of being profoundly Bolivarian, Chavista and anti-imperialist. “This result will help build the best teams to complement the task of renewing the PSUV,” he pointed out.
He explained that the application process must have a minimum quorum of 120 people for the assemblies to be valid.
He also mentioned that, with these renewals, there will be a little more than 50,000 elected leaders in the llanera region “which allows us to prepare for any combat.”
Roa broke down that in the state there are 462 electoral centers ready to carry out the sessions to be held, representing the same number of UBCh in the state.
Participation and application
The political official indicated that the participation must be of the militancy that is registered in the electoral register of each voting center, street teams and UBCh.
For its part, the application will be open to all militants, men and women over 15 years of age, who must not have any open sanction in any disciplinary court of the party, must not be convicted of criminal offenses, as well as take into account various requirements fundamental.
They do not accept personal lines or advertisements
“We as a party, have to let it be an expression very typical of the bases, we are going to monitor that there are no lines or personal propaganda, because we will be vetoing those actions,” the deputy sentenced.
He specified that these sanctions will be very severe, “because President Nicolás Maduro wants a government party with interests for the people.”
Base structures finalize organization of assemblies
The also deputy to the National Assembly emphasized that those in charge of organizing the assemblies are the promoters of the party, anticipating that the national leadership of the political organization “is evaluating the role that they are going to have in the subsequent PSUV.”
At the same time, he pointed out the participation of the base structures elected last August, which will also have the task of contributing to the realization of the upcoming process.
They call for unity and organization in Guariqueño municipalities
In this sense, Roa raised the call for unity and organization in those municipalities where the opposition has taken the reins of the mayor’s office, delimiting that “we must provide all the support so that it comes out in the best way.”
He reported that, in the event of any complaint or concern within the assemblies, different members of the party will be deployed to attend to them, as will the house of the political organization, through the Situation Room.
In another order of ideas, the PSUV regional liaison reiterated that the red party is prepared for the upcoming presidential elections, whether in 2024 or earlier.
