The militancy of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in the state of Sucre, was deployed in the municipalities of Benítez (El Pilar), Andrés Eloy Blanco (Casanay) and Bermúdez (Carúpano), with the aim of identifying problems in the communities and, in turn, time, develop a specific agenda of action that guarantees its solution.
With a concentration in El Pilar, the state liaison of this political organization, Jesús Faría, accompanied by the entity’s governor, Gilberto Pinto, began this deployment that will be extended to the 12 remaining municipalities of the state, with the purpose of setting up debates territorial.
“Let’s go house to house. Let’s draw a road map and move forward together to recover from our problems of public and social services. Let’s find a solution together as one government. As a counteroffensive of the Revolution to consolidate socialism.
For his part, Governor Gilberto Pinto exclaimed that Sucre “has been the vanguard of the Revolution.” At the same time, he urged the militancy to work tirelessly to guarantee the victory of President Nicolás Maduro in the upcoming electoral processes.
ZEE Law will promote the development of the productive forces of the nation
In this sense, Jesús Faría highlighted that the Law of Special Economic Zones (SEZ) enacted by President Nicolás Maduro, will promote the development of the nation’s productive forces, while strengthening sovereignty and economic stability.
The also deputy of the National Assembly (AN), explained that after a broad debate with all sectors of Venezuelan society, the approval of this important legal instrument that will promote exports and attract economic development in the country was achieved.
«We have a law that is now transformed into a strategy to attract investments for development, productive investments, to substitute imports and generate chains; that is, to promote the development of the productive forces of our nation”, affirmed Faría.
In this context, he stressed that with the Special Economic Zones announced by the Venezuelan head of state, welfare will be provided to society by raising its quality of life and developing a state of social justice for the population, generating sources of employment through the projects productive partners that will be promoted in the territory.
“The SEZs become an important pole for the integral economic, social, ecological, political and spiritual development of our people. This law will play a fundamental role. It is going to give us the opportunity to have an economy that is independent of oil, that is not rentier, and most importantly, it will generate work spaces for the community”, he stressed.
In the same way, he celebrated the meeting held between the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Carlos Faría, and his Colombian counterpart Álvaro Leyva, last Thursday, July 28, where they announced the reestablishment of diplomatic relations as of August 7, when the president-elect of the Republic of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, assumes the presidency of that country.
“We aspire that those changes that President Petro has announced can be developed. But above all, we salute what happened during the meeting of our foreign ministers, which points to very important decisions as of August 7, where a process of normalization of our relations will begin », he said.
In this regard, he asserted that for many years Colombia served as a “spearhead to attack and attack the Venezuelan people.” However, he reiterated that thanks to the strength and integration of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Psuv and organized popular power, the sovereignty and stability of the country have been defended against the attacks promoted by the United States.
“We have shown our great strength. We are a great muscle of the Bolivarian Revolution. We have managed to consolidate a social force at the head of which is the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and which brings together millions of compatriots,” Faria ratified.
Faría also added that the Congress of the New Era will guarantee the renewal of grassroots structures and strengthening of social movements in order to defend the economy and sovereignty of Venezuela through the formation of the great anti-blockade movement.
