Psuv militancy in Sucre prepares to renew political teams

A total of 55 parish teams of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), 15 municipal and 1 state team will be renewed in the state of Sucre, the state liaison of the red band, Jesús Faría, reported during a political meeting.

He explained that the application process of the new candidates to the three instances of the political organization will take place this Saturday, November 12 throughout the national territory.

«Next Saturday we are going to have the continuity of the unprecedented and absolutely successful processes that took place last September and where thousands of men and women in the state of Sucre are now part of the leadership structures of the PSUV in the streets, in the communities and in the Bolívar – Chávez Battle Units (UBCH)”, Faría highlighted.

In this regard, the also deputy of the National Assembly (AN) emphasized that all the militancy of the party and the youth of the red awning are bound to participate to carry out the first phase of selection of the new men and women who will make up these political teams.

“We expect massive participation as we have seen in previous processes, where thousands of men and women participate directly through the exercise of revolutionary democracy to build the United Socialist Party of Venezuela,” Faría said.

In this context, the state liaison explained that the application process will be carried out in popular assemblies in each of the electoral centers and spaces set up in the territories from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the afternoon.

He reiterated that the candidates to form the political teams must be Venezuelans, belong to the PSUV, not have a judicial sentence for any criminal offense, and not be subject to disciplinary proceedings before the party’s court.

He clarified that, in addition, they must be over 15 years of age, while for youth between 15 and 30 years of age. Similarly, he described that each leader may nominate only four people who are active in the political organization.

“This process is not one of election as was done with the street, community and UBCH structures, the process will be one of application which will allow the national leadership to qualitatively evaluate who will be the best men and women to build unitary teams, with revolutionary loyalty and the commitment to work for the happiness, social well-being and economic development of the homeland”, affirmed Faría.

He stressed that the militancy is deployed in each of the 15 municipalities of the eastern geography, in order to guarantee good development at the organizational, political and communicational level during the renewal process.

PSUV is the project of the Bolivarian Revolution

Jesús Faría, stated that they will continue to prepare the machinery to defend the PSUV, which is the project of the Bolivarian Revolution and of socialism, which has contributed to the development of social policies and the defense of the homeland.

To conclude, he added that they will continue working to strengthen the unity of the revolutionary militancy and guarantee victory in the next presidential elections to be held in 2024.
