This Tuesday, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in Guárico, announced its support for the actions of the President Nicolas Maduro in the struggle to strengthen the social demands of the working class.
Through a press conference held from the regional house of the party, the executive secretary of the PSUV in the state, Freddy Alí Gómez, highlighted that “we are living in exceptional moments, moments that the country has never experienced and it is that for several years For years Venezuela has been the object of sanctions and a terrible blockade that has made veins in the Venezuelan economy”.
Following the announcements made by the national president yesterday afternoon, Gómez specified that, although the unilateral sanctions and coercive measures imposed by imperialism have affected the people, “the president continues to lead, standing up for the more than 6 million of public workers in our country”.
He described the indexation of the food voucher (cestaticket) and the Economic Warfare voucher as one more achievement of the Bolivarian revolution, adding that “this means that we are facing an important contribution to the national economy and to the sacrifices that force has had worker of this country.
The spokesperson stressed that these actions point towards the consolidation of the Venezuelan economy, as well as progress together with the people in mitigating the crisis facing the Venezuelan territory.
Consolidation of Venezuelan welfare and the working class
Likewise, the partisan official highlighted the importance of financial leverage of the workers’ Savings Bank system, with the aim of generating plans and programs that contribute to the well-being of the working class.
“We are sure that, given this measure of financial injection to the Savings Banks, Venezuelans will enjoy those programs that previously favored us, such as immediate loans,” he said.
He then added that “we remain firm, fighting for this country. We are comforted that there is a government that with empathy places itself in the place of us workers and enacts important laws to consolidate our income”.
“The fight continues, we continue advancing in the social demands of the working class and the population in general, to the same extent that the revolution evolves, defeating, overcoming the blockade and recovering international spaces to rescue our heritage, reserves and companies,” said Gómez.
PSUV rejects US decision on Citgo
The executive secretary of the red awning in Guárico, expressed on behalf of the regional government, support for the Head of State in the fight against corruption, at the same time that he rejected the decision of the US government on the delivery of the Citgo company (a subsidiary of the state oil company PDVSA) to a sector of the opposition.
“From here we reject that decision. After being kidnapped, now they decide to hand over this company to a commission that has no legal value, that does not represent this country, that does not have legal representation to exercise control or the administrative and patrimonial management of Citgo”, declared Gómez.
