The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) is deployed throughout the country to combat fuel, hospital and scrap mafias, the party’s first vice president, Diosdado Cabello, reported Monday.
During a press conference, Cabello pointed out that this deployment is framed in the instruction of President Nicolás Maduro, who has instructed “to fight three mafias: the fuel, hospital and scrap mafia. The Party is deployed to support all these actions.”
He referred that in this matter the government is the one that has competence together with the support of the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, and they will count on the deployment of the party to put an end to these mafias. “Whoever falls, until all those responsible fall,” she stressed.
For the first vice president of the PSUV, the economic war is not going to end, on the contrary, if the right could keep us cornered, it would, without a doubt, that is why “the economic war has not ended, they continue to harm the people.”
He stressed that Venezuela has risen up alone, “we have not received support from anyone, here is not the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, rather they owe us money, more than 4 billion dollars.
In this sense, he indicated that both the people and the Bolivarian government have clear lines to continue advancing, we will continue “fighting tooth and nail.”
Regarding the Code of Ethics approved in the Assembly, Cabello mentioned that it establishes “the correct way to act of some militant, whether or not he is in public office.”
“If someone from the party is the director of a ministry, they have a double responsibility, then when they break the regulations, to the extent that they commit faults, the sanctions will have to do with the responsibility that person has,” he added.
He reiterated that PSUV militants “are not afraid of denunciations, we ask that they be made and come from any Venezuelan,” he said.
He commented on the incident that occurred in Miranda state, denounced by the people themselves, where “an opposition mayor despised the people and invaded land owned by a peasant. They destroyed his crops, his house, they destroyed everything.”
He also said that they felled 18 Samán trees, Ceiba trees, over 300 years old, just because they were in an area that the Mayor did not like. On the land they planned to build a go-kart track. Given all this situation, the party mobilized and we attended to the family, said Cabello.
Faced with events like these, said Cabello, the full weight of the law must be applied and not fall into blackmail, everyone must assume their responsibility.
These serious cases are managed by the National Directorate of the Party. We must be and appear, even more “resemble the people who chose us”.
Proposals and growth
On the other hand, the first vice president of the PSUV said that 2,500 assemblies have been held, and we have more than 17,000 proposals. We are working with the approaches of 1×10; the 3R.nets, the map of solutions, concrete action agendas, which touch on the issue of public services.
“Everything that is happening in Venezuela right now is thanks to the efforts of the people,” he emphasized.
In this sense, he highlighted the real growth of the economy, “but we must balance it, that there is no inequality in Venezuelan society,” he said.
We have real growth but we must make it balanced so that there is no inequality in Venezuelan society
Colombian narco-government
For Cabello, the “narco-government of Colombia is a danger and a real threat to the world. The paramilitaries who have come to attack the president and those who tried to carry out a coup were trained in Colombia.”
“I don’t know if elections will fix Colombia’s problems, I don’t know. They have 53 weeks massacring the people and the world says nothing, ”he added.
Condolences to the Chavez family
In these moments of sadness, Venezuela supports María Gabriela Chávez, Rosa and Hugo for the departure of “our dear Nancy Colmenarez, first wife of Commander Chávez. We shared with Nancy, who had an extraordinary simplicity, she fought, she fought and she fought. Our love always for them,” said Cabello.
high sport
For Cabello, baseball player Miguel Cabrera is national pride, for his 300 hits achieved in his professional baseball career.
“Miguel Cabrera 300 hits and those that are missing, who is not happy about that, I have seen some who are not happy because it makes them angry. He is from Aragua, Venezuelan national pride for all of us, ”he added.
Nicaragua and the OAS
Regarding Nicaragua’s decision to leave the Organization of American States (OAS), Cabello said: “It deserves applause from the world, because it not only left but also kicked them out of there. That’s what all countries should do.”
For the first vice president of the PSUV, the OAS disappeared, it is a tome that is at the service of the United States, it is the reflection of the Lima Group, it is what remains: nothing.
“Very good for Nicaragua, we are happy for this decision and the brave decision of Daniel Ortega,” he remarked.
