The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), described as a gesture of friendship the reopening of the border between Colombia and Venezuela, after 7 years.
“It is a gesture of friendship between neighboring states, they are neighboring countries with historical roots that are basically the same, there is no major difference,” said the first vice president of the red awning, Diosdado Cabello during the PSUV’s weekly press conference .
He recalled that for years executed policy by governments from Colombia It was the aggression against our country. “Even invasions were planned from Colombia (…) a totally ignoble act of aggression and we endured it in silence,” he said.
Justice will come to the Monómeros case
Regarding the case of the Venezuelan company Monómeros, he stressed that justice will reach all the political leaders who participated in the robbery of the petrochemical company.
“Justice is going to come, we have no doubt because many people from Colombia and Venezuela took advantage of what they stole,” he said, referring to the complaint filed by the sector vice president of economy, Tareck El Aissami, that although people are missing, he only presented the reality of what happened and how that opposition destroyed the facilities of said company.
He recalled that among those who took advantage of the theft of Monómeros is Leopoldo López’s mother, who was paid through the company; as well as the leader Tomás Guanipa, “who used money from it to celebrate his birthday party,” he said.
ratified the bases of the parties
Regarding the bases of the Party, he welcomed the fact that the revolutionary militancy has ratified its commitment to the Revolution, making reference to the swearing in of the Heads of Street, Community and Bolívar-Chavez Battle Units (UBCH).
He highlighted the responsibility assumed by the youth to lead the bases of the Party, by decision of the People Venezuelan, after the democratic renewal process.
He stated that the emotion “we are going to find it throughout Venezuela, that joy and that love of the militants, our people are preparing,” he emphasized in reference to the acts in which he participated over the weekend to swear in the elected cadres in different state.
