SANTO DOMINGO – The Social Christian Reformist Party (PRSC) proclaimed today that the Dominican Republic should be promoted as a tourist multi-destination in the Caribbean, considering that it has “everything a continent has.”
The Secretary General of the PRSC and senator for the province of La Vega, engineer Ramón Rogelio Genao, pointed out that there is no destination in the region that can offer diversity in landscapes, climate and types of recreation and infrastructure of ports and airports such as the Dominican Republic.
“This half-island has everything that a continent has, such as the best beaches in the world distributed in the East, North and South of the country, as well as mountains, dozens of national parks, rivers, waterfalls and natural monuments and a climate that It gives summer and spring all year round, combined with low temperatures in winter,” he said.

He went on to say that the Dominican Republic has sun and sand, adventure, ecological, sports, agricultural, cultural and religious, maritime and cruise tourism.
“In short, it can be said that what you want to do can be found and done in our beloved and beautiful nation,” he said.
Genao also highlighted the achievements of the Government of President Luis Abinader in rescuing and relaunching Dominican tourism.
In this sense, the reformist leader and senator highlighted that the Abinader government “achieved that more than 5 million tourists visited the country in 2021, in addition to the start of multiple projects in the sector, which deserves the applause of all citizens. ”.
