A total of 71 officials were found with some alleged administrative, civil or criminal responsibility during 2022 by the Comptroller General of the Republic in Huancavelica.
This was announced by the regional Control manager, Roberto Hipólito Dominguez, during a press conference held in Huancavelica, who explained that this situation is the result of subsequent control reports carried out by his institution.

Finally, he announced that during the past year they issued 1,803 control reports in the department, of which 648 correspond to subsequent control, in addition to 19 compliance audits and specific control services.
The institutions with the most involved officials in this ranking are: Provincial Municipality of Tayacaja, with 20 employees, Electroperú SA, with 12 employees, Regional Government of Huancavelica with 9 employees, and Provincial Municipality of Huancavelica with 8 employees.
Next on the list are the Departmental Hospital of Huancavelica, the Provincial Municipality of Huaytará and the Regional Health Directorate with 5 employees each; with 4 is the Provincial Municipality of Churcampa and with 3 the Regional Directorate of Education.
In that same list, they confirm that there is a total of 60 officials investigated for alleged administrative misconduct, the same ones that result in civil or criminal offenses.
It is also shown that there are another 16 officials who have an investigation in civil proceedings and another six in criminal proceedings. It should be noted that there are officials who have investigations in more than one way.
Civil cases are sent to the public prosecutor’s office of the Comptroller’s Office or the entity; while in criminal cases they go to the Public Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in corruption crimes.

Meanwhile, administrative responsibility is evaluated and sanctioned by the same entity from its Disciplinary Administrative Procedure (PAD) area.
Hipólito Dominguez also announced that among some of the changes to the norm, he details that now not only responsibility is determined in the titular officials, but also in the commissions, who used to get away in delicate cases of corruption.
