The government of the Buenos Aires province, which currently depends on Axel Kicillof, will extend the maternity and paternity leave of state workers.
In the case of mothers, 45 days will be added to the 90 that were already established on Buenos Aires territory. While, the parents in the Buenos Aires province will benefit from an extension of 3 to 15 days.
In principle, the joint agreement with the unions implies a more equitable and inclusive regime in the Buenos Aires province and seeks to account for cultural, social and economic changes.
For now will reach state workers from jurisdiction registered in laws 10,430 and 10,471. As reported, the first general agreement on working conditions will be signed next Tuesday.
The Buenos Aires secretary general of ATE, Oscar de Isasi, told El Uncover in recent days that the objective of these changes is “to recognize and grant rights to the different types of family arrangements that exist.”
The rest of the licenses
In the case of adoption licenses, it will go from 90 days to a time period of between 120 and 180 days. In turn, they explained that the amount will also depend on the age of the child.
Secondly, those of the death of the parental co-responsible will be extended from 2 or 3 days to 1 to 3 months. Likewise, the one that is for the care of a sick family member will have an extra time of 15 days.
Likewise, another of the changes consists in the contemplation of the birth licenses of a child with a disability with a limit of up to 180 calendar days.
Among other cases, licenses for reasons or particular issues will be extended from 5 to 6 days and one will also be established for assisted fertilization treatment of 10 days per year.
