In the book, the author presents a careful and unprecedented compilation of characters and organizations, which outline a mosaic of events that, with their actions, contributed to forging an important culture of civic resistance, against the abuses of power and the arbitrariness of the State. . The text seeks to connect recent events with past situations that seem to repeat themselves in national development. Usual Suspects is an encyclopedic work from a non-traditional point of view, which seeks to complicate what until now many Venezuelans knew about the history of human rights.

The prologue of Usual Suspects was the work of the prolific and renowned Venezuelan writer Alberto Barrera Tyszka, who highlighted: «Rodolfo Montes de Oca proposes us to investigate ´the incessant tension between the past and the present´ to value and discern history in another way, to build a different story of the process we have lived and the moment we are living».

This book can be purchased in its physical format in future training workshops on memory or in Music for Medicine activities through the exchange of medicines for the benefit of humanitarian organizations such as Acción Solidaria or Prepara Familia.
