As a consequence of the protests that are registered in different parts of the country, there are 1.1 million jobs that are at risk, alerted the Chamber of Commerce of Lima (CCL).
The union indicated that there are 15 regions where there are conflicts and where employment is in danger due to social conflict, including Amazonas, Áncash, Apurímac, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cusco, Huánuco, Ica, La Libertad, Madre de Dios, Moquegua, Puno, San Martin, Tacna and Ucayali.
On the other hand, he pointed out that the sectors include mining, agriculture, construction, commerce and services.
The business union pointed out that the conflicts in these parts of the country will affect exports, since they together represent 54% of the total exported in January of this year and which amounted to US$ 5.298 million.

He recalled that, of the total exported by Ica, 36% corresponds to fresh grapes; while, of the total exported by Ancash and Arequipa, 66% are copper concentrations in each of these regions.
In the case of La Libertad, of the total exported, 43% is raw gold, while in Moquegua 53% of the total exported are refined copper cathodes and in Apurímac 93% of the total exported is copper concentrate.
Finally, the CCL reported that other losses as a result of the protests are those that correspond to public investment that daily amounts to S/71.3 million. He explained that the national government stops investing S/19.7 million, regional governments S/14.6 million and local governments S/37.0 million.
