Protesters protest against poll results

The All Souls holiday was marked by acts in several cities, including Brasília, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The demonstrators protested against the result of the election for the Presidency of the Republic. They called for federal intervention.Protesters protest against poll results

In Rio de Janeiro, the demonstrations started early in the morning, in front of the Eastern Military Command (CML), the regional headquarters of the Army, in the center. Dressed in green and yellow, carrying Brazilian flags and posters, people occupied the entire front of the CML building and most of Avenida Presidente Vargas. The military formed a cordon in front of the main gate of the CML.

In São Paulo, the meeting point was in front of the Southeast Military Command, in the Parque do Ibirapuera region, in the south of São Paulo. The Military Police reported that it monitors the site with reinforcement and diversion of traffic in the surroundings.

In Brasília, the act takes place in front of the Army Headquarters, in the SMU (Urban Military Sector). People started arriving last night (1st). The Military Police said they should release a report on the occurrences around 19:00.
