After the announcement of the strike, last night, a vigil was held in front of the Huancayo Cathedral, where mention was made of the sacrificial march to La Oroya, which would begin tomorrow to finalize the closure of the Central Highway from on Thursday, February 2.

At 3:00 in the afternoon today, a peaceful march was called in front of the Mariscal Castilla stadium, towards the center of Huancayo, calling for the resignation of President Dina Boluarte, the closure of Congress and new general elections for this 2023 .
“We will block the Central Highway, not with stones or through blows, but with our bodies. We will install our tents in that place until the requirements are met”, added Ariste.
