Several premises of public institutions were burned during the last day of protests that took place in Huancavelica.
The day of struggle undertaken by young people from Huancavelica continued for several hours in the city of Huancavelica.
From early on some began to go out into the streets and began to burn the tires and wooden boxes, in various parts of the city, some close to the Mercado de Abastos.
Subsequently, the protesters began to gather in various parts of the city, where they began to launch harangues in favor of their struggle, demanding the Closing of Congress, the resignation of President Dina Boluarte, and the reinstatement of the now imprisoned former President Pedro Castillo Terrones.
CAUSE FIRES IN PREMISES OF PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS
The first place that was heard was the premises of the Public Ministry in the city of Lircay (Angaraes province), where the fire was started after clashes with protesters.
Fortunately, the early intervention of the troops of the Lircay Fire Company No. 179 arrived on time and prevented the fire from destroying the entire infrastructure and the fire from reaching the surrounding houses.
In this place, a total of four people were treated at the hospital, including a deputy prosecutor, two guards and a police officer.
The fire did not stop there, after it occurred in Lircay, in the city of Huancavelica there were also strong incidents, and clashes on corners such as the Lircay exit, the Plaza de Armas, Plaza Santa Ana and the front of the Regional Directorate of Transportation .
As a result of these incidents, the legal medicine premises of the Huancavelica Public Ministry, the Av Los Chancas headquarters of the Judiciary, and the Regional Directorate of Transportation and Communications ended up on fire.
