Protected areas must be entered with a vaccination certificate

The Ministry of the Environment reported on this new requirement to enter protected areas.

The Ministry of the Environment reported that to enter the protected areas of the country “The presentation of the vaccination card or certificate«.

The measure takes into account the instructions of the resolution of the National Emergency Operations Committee (COE) of last December 21, 2021.

With the presentation of the card in public places, the national authorities seek to encourage vaccination against Covid-19 and reduce infections by the variant omicron which is already a community in Ecuador. (AVV)
