Morales and Kevin Sumarán have been in preliminary detention since September 16for 10 days, the deadline for which is about to expire. That day, the Fifth National Criminal Court ordered the preliminary detention of Victor Morales Chocano, Jean Kevin Sumaran Lino, Javier William Salazar Borja, John Edgar Aquino Jara, Cesar Eugenio Orizano, Marco Antonio Palacios Audato, Mayumi Valderama Ortega and Edgar Durand Placido. Six of them were arrested and the other three were not located.
