Five Republican Guard police officers were denounced for sexual abuse and the case is being investigated by the prosecution, reported La Diaria and confirmed The Observer through tax sources. The woman who reported the incident is receiving assistance from the Victims Unit.
Precautionary measures were established for those investigated, including the prohibition of communication and approach to the victim for 180 days. The next March 25th a new hearing will be held.
The case is being investigated under reserve by prosecutor Maximiliano Sosa, in charge of the Eighth Shift Office of the Prosecutor for Sexual Offenses, Domestic Violence and Gender-Based Violence.
