The Attorney General’s Office has filed two constitutional complaints against the former congressman of Fuerza Popular, Victor Albrechtaccusing him of aggravated influence peddling to the detriment of the State. The accusations point to his alleged intervention in appointments and procedures on behalf of third parties, aggravating his situation and the processes for which he had already been investigated.
“The first alleged fact refers to the conduct and actions deployed by Albrecht, at the request of the provincial prosecutor Rony Salinas Bedón, to favor his appointment interests in his capacity as a reserve candidate for call No. 002-2017-SN/CNM “, they reported in a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter).
The case, which is now in the hands of the Congressional Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations, could have significant repercussions and aggravate their situation.
