Prosecutor’s Office enables telephone line to receive information from Carlos Lanz

The Public Ministry has set up a direct telephone line, with the aim of receiving information about Professor Carlos Lanz, who has been missing since August 2020, the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported this Saturday.

Those who can provide information on the whereabouts of Lanz – detailed the prosecutor – may contact the authorities at the number 0800CARLOSL (227-5675).

Through his account on the social network Twitter, Saab explained that on April 18, the prosecutors appointed in the case met with the relatives of Professor Lanz.

Since the disappearance of Lanz, detailed the prosecutor, the Public Ministry has carried out about 100 proceedings hand in hand with the different security and intelligence bodies in the country.

“To date, the Public Ministry has carried out in relation to the investigation and search for Carlos Lanz: more than 100 criminal proceedings with the #active participation of the auxiliary bodies Sebin, DGCIM, CICPC and CPNB,” emphasized the Attorney General.

Among the proceedings carried out, 53 interviews stand out regarding the family circle, neighbors, work team, friends, ideal colleagues, as well as psychiatric expertise, family psychiatric profile, forensic expertise, telephone analysis, review of migratory movements, polygraph tests , technical inspections of your home and other sites, drone tours, analysis of security camera recordings, analysis of financial profiles, extraction of content from storage devices, luminol testing, verification at ports and airports.

Lanz was last seen at his residence – from which he left voluntarily – located in Maracay, Aragua state.

Since his disappearance, the MP maintains working tables with all security agencies to clarify the facts.

Similarly, William Saab detailed “Interpol maintains the Yellow Notice active for the location of Professor Carlos Lanz in any of the 194 member countries of the International Criminal Police Organization.”
