The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, announced the extension of the arrest warrants against five other Argentine officials linked to the theft of the plane of the Venezuelan airline Emtrasur, and the kidnapping of its crew that occurred in 2022.
The prosecutor reported that arrest warrants have been issued against the officials: Gerardo Milman, Federico Villena, federal judges; Cecilia Incardona, federal prosecutor; Carlos Vallefín, judge of the Federal Court of Appeals, and Roberto Arias, judge of the Federal Court of Appeals.
In turn, he indicated that arrest warrants are being processed for officials Ricardo López, Yamil Santoro, María Eugenia Talerico, Leonardo Caser, Diego Iglesias and Franco Rinaldi.
He indicated that those identified will be charged with the crimes of: aggravated robbery, capital laundering, simulation of a punishable act, illegitimate deprivation of liberty, deactivation of an aircraft and association to commit a crime.
Saab explained that the arrest warrant is accompanied by the Interpol International Red Alert, while recalling that these warrants are in addition to those previously announced against Javier Milei, president of the Argentine Republic; Karina Milei, general secretary of the presidency, and the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich.
Likewise, he accused the president of the Argentine Forum for the Defense of Democracy, Waldo Wolff, for also being involved in these events.
Finally, he strongly criticized the policy of double standards of the Government of Javier Milei, which remains silent while Israel commits genocide against the Palestinian people, but which nevertheless speaks out, supposedly based on pseudo international jurisdiction, against the Government of President Nicolás Maduro. .
