The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported on the designation of the 74th National Prosecutor’s Office in charge of Organized Crime and the 5th of Bolívar to investigate and punish the acts of sabotage on the Angostura Bridge.
This was stated early on Wednesday by the head of the criminal action from his account on the social network X.
“@MinpublicoVEN in the face of the criminal sabotage action against the Angostura bridge: #appoints the 5th Prosecutor’s Office of Bolívar and the 74th National Prosecutor’s Office with jurisdiction in Organized Crime: to #Investigate and #Panish the serious events that occurred on the aforementioned #Bridge that connects the states Anzoátegui and Bolívar”, published the Prosecutor.
In this regard, he added that “some criminals intended – through vandalism – to collapse the Infrastructure, carrying out neuralgic outages that caused serious damage to the aforementioned structure.”
Likewise, in the publication Saab warns on behalf of the Public Ministry that those individuals found responsible for actions of sabotage to the Nation’s public services will be punished with the maximum penalty.

This Tuesday, from the Angostura bridge, which connects the states of Anzoátegui and Bolívar, the executive vice president, Delcy Rodriguezdenounced that a terrorist plan was revealed that sought to collapse the aforementioned infrastructure through vandalism.
