Prosecutor’s Office awaits results of the autopsy of the policeman, since there are no visible injuries and his comrades report that he “vanished” in the intervention

Preliminary police reports point out that Sergeant Ronald Choque Mamani died during an intervention in the town of Limoncito, belonging to the municipality of El Torno, by police officers from the Administrative and Mining Jurisdictional Authority (AJAM).

According to the versions of the same AJAM consultancy, the police sergeant vanished, from one moment to anotherand was taken to the El Torno municipal hospital to be revived, but when he arrived he had already lost his life.

A hospital doctor, who attended the case, certified that there are no visible external injuries in the body of Ronald Choque Mamani. However, the corpse will be transferred to the morgue of the hospital de la Pampa of the Island so that the legal autopsy can be performed and the cause of death established.

The prosecutor assigned to El Torno, José Tarqui, reported that Investigations have been initiated to clarify the death of Police Sgt. He added that he awaits the results of the forensic medical report.

Furthermore, he added that the deceased belonged to an AJAM group that he came from La Paz to carry out an operation in a Limoncito crusher, for which reason he ruled out that he belongs to the command of El Torno or to the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc).

The police assigned to AJAM also revealed that their comrade, a native of La Paz, yesand faded when they met in the intervention.
