The request was formulated on October 15, so Supreme Judge Juan Carlos Checkley has scheduled a private virtual hearing for Tuesday, December 17, to evaluate the tax requirement with the participation of the parties involved.

The measure also includes Nathalie Flor Rubio Yllatopa, a former employee of the parliamentarian. For both, the lifting of the secrecy of communications is requested in the period between April 2 and 10, 2022.
Currently, the legislator has a constitutional complaint against her in the Congress of the Republic for the alleged crime of concussion to the detriment of the State for having allegedly made improper charges to her staff.
One of the affected workers is Cecilia Salazar Mattos, who, in statements to the program End Pointclaimed to have served as an advisor to the legislator between July 2021 and August 2022, during which time she would have transferred, according to her version, an amount greater than S/24 thousand.
Last October, it should be noted, she realized that Torres had used staff from her office to support the political campaign of her husband Fernando Meléndez Celis when he ran for the position of regional governor of Loreto.
In this regard, Torres has responded that the complaints are part of an alleged campaign of “political persecution” against him.
