Prosecutor’s Office accuses the third apprehended for the assault on a woman in a taxi and asks for her arrest in jail

The Prosecutor’s Office has already charged Camila LA and will request her arrest preventive in prison, for the alleged assault he committed against Lauren YPC, inside a taxi, which they boarded after a concert on June 18.

The commission of prosecutors made up of Delmy Guzmán and Osvaldo Tejerina charged the apprehended woman with crimes of aggravated robbery and serious and minor injuries as well as Matthew Merly Middagh and Daniel Vahid Nouri Dorado, who are already in preventive detention in the Palmasola prison.

Tejerina indicated that Camila LA was captured this Tuesday, when he voluntarily presented himself at the offices of the Prosecutor’s Office to testify for the assault on a woman, which was recorded by a security camera

Likewise, the prosecutor explained that the arrest warrant against the accused was only issued on July 8, because was identified thanks to the statement of Daniel Vahid Nouri Dorado, who was arrested in Yacuiba on July 2.

“Four people are being investigated for the case, two of them they were already subjected to a hearing of precautionary measuresyes they are detained in Palmasola, now the third will be brought to the attention of the Prosecutor’s Office so that justice can determine their situation,” said the director of the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc), Colonel Julio César Cossío.

He explained that Camila will be prosecuted, as will Matthew Merly Middagh and Daniel Vahid Nouri Dorado, who They are already detained in the Palmasola prison. Meanwhile, a fourth arrest warrant against Kathryn, Matthew’s sister, has yet to be executed.

In its indictment, the prosecutors’ commission is requesting the preventive detention in jail of the third apprehended. His precautionary hearing will take place this Wednesday, but the judge handling the case is expected to set the time.
