All prosecutor’s offices of the country put into operation the new biometric module integrated into Case Management System (Sgcmp), which revolutionizes the registration of the accused and guarantees, unequivocally, the execution of judicial provisions, especially the coercive measures that force the processed to report periodically to the authorities.
The new module redefines the security in criminal proceedingsby establishing a direct interconnection and in real time, with the database of the Central Electoral Board (JCE).
In a press release, the Attorney General’s Office explains that, through technology stations equipped with fingerprint readersphotographic cameras with tripod and document scanners, the system allows you to carry out biometric consultationseliminating any possibility of identity theft or errors in the registration of the accused.
“This implementation strengthens transparency and the institutional traceabilityallowing auditable monitoring of each person from their first contact with justice until the duration of the measure of coercion“adds the Public Ministry.
According to the prosecution body, one of the most significant advances of this system is its ability to systematize information and generate automatic certifications.

The Attorney General’s Office affirms that each appearance of the processed is left over registered electronicallyimmediately joining the digital file of the user.
