The Attorney General of the State, Juan Lanchipa, who arrived in the capital of Santa Cruz for this meeting, said that the delegations of the Public Prosecutors participated in the ‘Meeting of Knowledge Exchange of the Prosecutor’s Office of Paraguay and Bolivia’, where shared experiences and good practices in the fight against crime and drug trafficking.
“We have common cases and problems that we want to work on in a coordinated manner, in the exchange of information for research In our cases, we have requested the presence of our departmental prosecutors from Santa Cruz and Beni so that they can have a relationship of trust and cooperation. We hope that this space will be the beginning of a joint working relationship. for mutual collaboration in the management and obtaining of information to combat organized crime,” said Lanchipa.
The presence of the Beni prosecutor, Gerardo Balderas, at the meeting is due to the fact that Marset, while imprisoned in Dubai, processed his visa work in Trinidad (Beni) and managed to get the National Directorate of Migration to give him the legal resolution for his entry into Bolivia.
The Paraguayan delegation of the Specialized Unit in the Fight against Drug Trafficking and Organized Crime is made up of prosecutors Matilde Moreno and Deny Yoon Pak, the latter is the one who leads the investigation of the ‘A Ultranza’ casethe operation in which the Marset criminal organization was dismantled.
