Prosecutor Saab supports Delcy Rodríguez in alternative criminal justice proposal

Prosecutor responds to Argentine Foreign Minister Gerardo Werthein

During the Solemn Opening Session of Judicial Activities 2026, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, spoke about different topics regarding the Amnesty Law and the justice implemented in the country.

“I have talked a lot with Doctor Tarek William Saab about alternative measures in justice, I also ask for alternative measures to punishment and punishment” stressed President (e) Delcy Rodríguez.

Attorney General Tarek William Saab reaffirmed that “the Public Ministry offers all our technical experience in favor of Peace, Justice and Human Rights to continue working on these new alternatives indicated by the president in charge, to benefit the Venezuelan people, just as we did together with the constitutional president Nicolás Maduro Moros.”

Saab supports the modifications made to the laws that have recently been approved by parliament and will continue in its effort to maintain national coexistence and dialogue in Venezuela.
