“While I was working in the reserved investigation that could involve questioning his appointment, he deployed arbitrary acts with the purpose of discrediting me and being able to withdraw from office so that this investigation does not prosper”added the prosecutor.
Among the arguments, he mentioned that the head of the Public Ministry deployed “acts that have harmed the investigation “ of the Los Cuellos Blancos del Puerto case before the post was withdrawn after it was learned that, together with the prosecutor Sandra Castro, he met with former President Martín Vizcarra to request support in his investigations.
“When the special team is created and a series of prosecutors from different instances is summoned, it is created without a head, no coordinator is appointed, the prosecutor Pablo Sánchez is not appointed”, manifested as one of the fouls committed by Ávalos.
To this, Rocío Sánchez added a request that she made so that the National Police no longer send the records of the communications related to Los Cuellos Blancos del Puerto to her office, but to the office of the coordinator of the special team.

In the complaint sent to the JNJ, he is also attributed with not having taken action to correct an alleged incorrect work on the part of the prosecutor Jesús Fernández Alarcón by not investigating María Zavala Valladares, now a member of the JNJ.
