Harold Antonio Sanchez Moreno33, pleaded guilty to the femicide of his partner, Tatiana Ninoska Jiron Rodriguez, 21, whom he beat and strangled to death. The crime occurred in San Pedro de Lóvago, municipality of Chontales.
“Madam Judge, I accept everything, I was the one who committed the crime, I accept the charges, because I was the one who committed it,” said the subject before the judge of the Criminal District Specialized in Violence of Acoyapa.
The femicide also detailed that he had an extramarital relationship with the victim, with whom he had two children, who are currently five and two years old.

Given the confession of Harold Sánchez, the Prosecutor’s Office asked Judge Mileydi Sequeira 25 years in prison for the defendantwhile the Public Defender’s Office requested that the subject be sentenced to 20 years in prison.
The facts
In the accusation presented by the prosecutor in the case, it was detailed that the femicide arrived on Thursday night, March 30, at the home of Tatiana Jirón, located in the Valle Verde neighborhood, where after they had relations, beat her and strangled her to death.
Then, he placed the victim’s body in a macen sack and tied it to a motorcycle, license plate CT 4988, to transfer it to the Loma Linda neighborhood where the subject lived and he buried him 500 meters from his house.
At the femicide’s house, the Police found the shovel and pick used by him to bury the victim. In addition, it was learned that Sánchez, before burying the body of his partner he took off his clothes and burned them next to the one he was walking with.
On the other hand, in the investigations of the Prosecutor’s Office it was discovered that the subject was a partner of Tatiana Jirón since she was 13 years oldso at the time he also committed the crime of rape under 14 years of age, the crime is not yet prescribed.
The judge of the Criminal District Specialized in Violence of Acoyapa explained that the reading of the sentence will be notified in the next few days through the judicial document.
