The head of the Public Ministry, Paul Sanchezopened a preliminary investigation against the former Minister of Transportation, Juan Silva, and the congressmen nicknamed ‘Los Niños’ after the statements made by the lobbyist Karelim López.
The parliamentarians are Rafael Doroteo, Elvis Vergara, Juan Mori, Jorge Flores, Jhaec Espinoza and Ilich López. All from the Popular Action bench.
Sánchez made this decision after receiving the report from the anti-corruption prosecutor Karla Zecenarro, as reported by Peru21, and the Luz Taquire money laundering case. Both collected López’s testimony.
