The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported that an investigation has been initiated to determine responsibilities related to an animal abuse case at the Tintorero fairs, last week.
Through the official account of the Public Ministry on Instagram, Saab said that the National Prosecutor’s Office and Prosecutor 23 with competence in Environmental Defense were appointed for such purposes.
He explained that through a viral video on social networks, “several subjects hit and kick a bull, causing serious damage to the helpless animal.”
The unfortunate event has generated outrage among citizens, who reject these types of acts that are not part of the competition.
