Saab said that the MP will not tolerate Nazi methods through animal abuse and spreading content that despises an ideological factor.
The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek Wiliam Saab, reported this Thursday that the Public Ministry (MP) appointed the sixth prosecutor with jurisdiction in Human Rights to begin an investigation for “Animal Abuse in an extreme right-wing opposition march” in Yaracuy.
“Due to the brutal events that occurred during a far-right opposition march, where subjects exposed the hanging of a rooster in order to inflict pain on a harmless animal and spread content of contempt for an ideological factor (…),” Saab wrote on his account on the X network.

Earlier, a video circulated on digital networks showing a pair of individuals on a motorcycle carrying a kind of spear with a rooster hanging by its neck, which was apparently lifeless. This led netizens to denounce the criminal moment, which went viral.
In this regard, the prosecutor added, “the Public Prosecutor’s Office does not tolerate this type of actions outside the law: using Nazi methods to spread – through animal abuse – messages of hatred against pro-government factors (as is the present case) and incitement to political violence.”
