The dialogue between the teachers and the Minister of Education, Édgar Pary, was cut short this Saturday after the leadership of the sector decided not to attend the call for dialogue, considering that there is no response to their demands.
Representatives of the 31 teacher federations that make up the Confederation of Urban Education Workers of Bolivia (Cteub), after an extended, decided to reject the response of the Ministry of Education to the counterproposal of the sector, to consider that there is nothing new regarding your requests, because maintains its position of providing 2,500 newly created items and the application of the new curricular mesh continues, although now it proposes that the teaching of English and robotics be gradual.
The second executive of the urban teachers of Santa Cruz, Lorenzo Chávez, described the response from the minister of the area, indicating that he offers 5.000 hours for the historical deficit throughout the country, when only Santa Cruz requires 155,000 hours.
