In the presentation of the work carried out in 2024 and 2025, the National Superintendency of Public Registries (Sunarp) announced an increase in registrations of properties, new vehicles and companies, which denotes a slight recovery of the economy after the COVID-19 pandemic. The balance was detailed by the head of Registry Zone No. XIII (Tacna, Moquegua and Puno) Breno Alzamora Cancino.
He noted that in the real estate registry, which refers to urban and rural properties, houses, apartments and others, in 2024, 10,0765 properties were registered and in 2025 a total of 12,772; which represents an increase of 18%. “This growth recorded last year reveals the dynamism of the real estate market,” the official stressed.
Likewise, regarding the registration of mortgages, in Tacna in 2025, 597 documents of this type were registered.
New vehicles in the south
Regarding the registration of new vehicles (of all types), there was also considerable growth. In 2024, 6,282 vehicles were registered in Tacna and in 2025 a total of 7,496. In Moquegua last year 5,071 units were registered and in Puno a total of 22,428 vehicles. It should be noted that in Puno there are two companies authorized to manufacture motorcycle taxis, very popular vehicles in the lake region.
Regarding the registration of motorcycles (linear motorcycles, tricycles and motocars) in 2025, 2,123 were registered in Tacna; in Moquegua 300 and in Puno 17,610.

Registration of de facto unions
Regarding the recognition of de facto unions, for couples who live together for more than two years, in Tacna 114 unions were registered, in Moquegua 63 and in Puno 997. Regarding divorces in 2024 in Tacna 241 were registered and in 2025 a total of 249.
Company constitution
The head of the Public Registries also announced that in Tacna in 2025, 1,473 new companies (EIRL, SRL companies) were registered and in 2024, 1,396 new companies were registered. In Puno last year, 3,789 registered and in Moquegua 725.
Regarding associations in Tacna, 514 new associations were registered in 2025 and 1,007 in Puno. In 2024, 406 had been registered in the Tacna region and 1,060 in Puno.
Regarding the registration advertising service, a total of 296,912 advertisements were issued throughout the registration area, of which 79,279 were done digitally.
