He also commented that, as a result of the consultations made by the suppliers, updates were made to the terms of reference (TOR), which allowed for greater participation. Thus, the modifications include the decision to expand the experience in nine regions at the national level and not limit it only to northern, central and southern areas.
In addition, Lizárraga specified that the obligation to establish a trust by the contractor was withdrawn, considering that Pronatel can already carry out the billing activities of the RDNFO.
He added that, if there are consortiums, it would be enough for a single company to have a license as a telecommunications operator in the country, which would allow even those that do not have a presence in the sector to form alliances with national operators.
Similarly, Lizárraga López indicated that information has been provided regarding the inventory of goods and their condition, the incident attention report during this year, the Osiptel supervision report for 2021, the list of spare parts that Pronatel has in process acquisition, among others.
Finally, he highlighted that, more than five months after temporarily assuming the administration of the RDNFO, the service remains in constant operation, transmitting data at high speed and long distances.
