This disbursement will be used for the purchase of land, construction and equipment of the premises that will be located in Quito. The purpose of the disbursement is to provide a unique experience to the brand’s customers who live in the neighboring country.

In this regard, the CEO of Promart Homecenter Ecuador, Jorge Sans, stated that this decision also aims to contribute to the dynamism of the sector and the generation of employment in said economy. “We are proud to be part of Ecuador’s growth engine, contributing to the revitalization of the sector, generating employment and contributing to the economic development of the country,” said the executive.

It should be noted that the Peruvian home improvement company arrived in the neighboring country in 2023. Today what it seeks is to have a 7,500 square meter space in the capital of Ecuador, which will generate approximately 200 direct jobs and three times as many indirect jobs.

In addition, the chain’s plans include consolidating at least 20 stores in its first decade in the Ecuadorian market. At the time, the company estimated that the annual investment would amount to US$60 million.
