Day one: Xochimilco and Milpa Alta
These districts, considered to be some of the most remote and with the highest level of marginalization in the capital, were chosen by the team of the elected head of government, Clara Brugada, to start the thank you tour of the 16 mayoralties.
In Xochimilco and Milpa Alta, Brugada reiterated the commitment of his next administration to the indigenous communities and towns, as well as to the indigenous communities settled in Mexico City.

He recalled that, as promised during his campaign, Xochimilco and Milpa Alta will have one of the five Cablebús lines, which will be a priority for construction starting in 2025.
“This will allow residents to have quick and safe transportation,” he said.
He also announced that the first rural UTOPIA will be built in Milpa Alta, where workshops will be held to raise awareness among the population about the importance of the countryside.
He announced that on November 6, once Brugada is in power, he will begin delivering the first programs: Transportation scholarships for university students and “from the cradle” scholarships and the voucher program “mercommune” for popular supply in local markets and businesses
Among the announcements made about his next government, was the transformation of the Mexico City Housing Institute into Ministry of Housingfor which reason it will send a reform to the law to the local Congress.
