Next Friday, July 22, at the invitation of the Municipality of Maldonado through the Mayor Enrique Antía and the Departmental Director of Tourism Martín Laventure, a working day will be held to coordinate public-private actions in the field of Tourism.
The event will be attended by the Minister (i) of Tourism Remo Monzeglio and the National Director of Tourism Roque Baudean accompanied by technicians from that Ministry.
The intention is to evaluate what has been done so far and plan actions to be taken together in promotional and advertising matters.
There will also be a detailed exposition of the tourist housing rental bill by the Coordinator of the Tourism Observatory of MINTUR, Dr. Julio Facal, a recognized expert in Tourism legislation who days ago was invited as a speaker of his specialty at the Sorbonne University of Paris.
Once again, this meeting between public and private actors will serve to generate consensus on the steps to follow and the execution times to achieve the best possible result for Uruguayan tourism as a whole.
