On Wednesday, August 10, the Chamber of Deputies will begin the discussion of the bill that reduces the quorum of reforms to the current Magna Carta to 4/7.
The motion was presented by DC senators Ximena Rincón, Matías Walker and Iván Flores, and the independent PPD Pedro Araya, and it was feared that the Republican Party might not approve it. However, faced with the risk that the project would not be left until Wednesday, parliamentarians from the ruling party caucuses requested the Segpres minister, Giorgio Jackson, and the undersecretary of the portfolio, Macarena Lobos, to place great urgency. The objective was for the motion to be discussed on the aforementioned date.
