An exclusive line of credit of up to R$21,000 is available to black entrepreneurs in the city of São Paulo. Resources can be requested both by self-declared black or brown entrepreneurs formally constituted, with the National Register of Legal Entities (CNPJ), and by informal ones.
The money will be made available by the São Paulo Development Agency, an entity linked to the Municipal Secretariat for Economic Development and Labor. The project is carried out through an agreement with Banco do Povo, the state government’s microcredit program.
The Empreenda Afro line offers credit from R$ 200 to R$ 21 thousand, with interest from 0.35% to 0.55% per month for formal entrepreneurs, with a term of up to 48 months. For informal ones, amounts of up to R$ 15,000 are available, with interest of 0.8% per month and a term of up to 36 months.
How to order
To ask for the money, it is necessary to have no restrictions in the Informative Register of Unpaid Credits of the Federal Public Sector (Cadin) and in Serasa regarding the National Register of Legal Entities (CNPJ) and Individual Register (CPF) of all partners; take one of the training courses indicated by the program; not having another loan with Banco do Povo in progress and agreeing to receive a visit to verify the business capacity.
The request can be made by filling out a interest form in resources.
