Professor Humberto Montero, spokesman for the Association of Teachers of Veragüenses, referred to the actions that will be carried out in the coming days by educators, where the possibility of an educational strike is raised where he considers that they have not been fulfilled with all the agreements agreed in January.
“On Monday, May 15, in all the fighting strongholds in the Republic of Venezuela school, in Chitré, Coclé, Chiriquí, Colón, Veraguas, all the fighting strongholds, we are walking schools and we have been doing this since January 28 with a agreement signed with the Minister of Education,” said Montero.
Regarding the actions that can be taken in the General Assembly that the unions will carry out, Montero pointed out that they can decide to make a warning strike “We do not rule out anything, on Monday May 15 the bases can say strike, they can say 48-hour strike , 72 hours but that comes from the bases so you have to be on the lookout because on Monday we are going to gather all the educators in this assembly ».
