Professionals request the restitution of their functions as teachers in Roboré

A group of professionals who worked as interim teachers in the Technical Education Centers in Roboré demand their reinstatement to their duties. This is because it was known that new teachers have already been appointed from the Departmental Directorate of Education, which leaves them out of their sources of work.

Jorge Vaca, one of the affected professionals, explained that, without prior notification, several professionals who worked as interim teachers in Roboré were fired for more than three years.

“Without warning they are laying off colleagues who have pregnant wives. They can’t do this, there has to be an explanation.“, indicated one of the affected professionals, from the District Education front in Roboré, where other teachers were also protesting.

Moreover, according to the manifest document of the sector that it presents, it is indicated that it is thanks to these professionals that technical training centers have been operating for a long time, collaborating with the training of adolescents and young people in the area.

That is why this Tuesday, the group declares a state of emergency and has received the support of various sectors, including the parents of the young people who are still in the formative stage.
