Profeco and the CRE close station that sold gasoline for more than 29 pesos

Profeco and the CRE close station that sold gasoline for more than 29 pesos

In a tour carried out by Expansión, it was found that the gas station had “temporary closure” stamps on the 12 vending machines.

The gas station was closed on Friday night.

The gas station staff said that they found out until this morning that they could not deliver, there were even disconcerted motorists when they saw the seals and tapes that prevented the passage. They had to find another option to refuel.

The company did not notify its workers of the closure of the station, so that at around 2:00 p.m. the personnel were still in the facilities.

Expansión announced last Wednesday that the price of Premium gasoline exceeded 29 pesos at this same gas station, located at Boulevard Manuel Ávila Camacho #105, in Naucalpan.

Although the authorities said that the temporary closure was due to high prices, the suspension was only made to that station.

A few meters away, another Shell gas station that also offered a liter of Premium gasoline at 29.19 pesos last Wednesday, operates normally this Saturday.

Both the one that operates normally and the one that is sanctioned by the CRE and Profeco, offer the price of Premium gasoline at 26.39 pesos from the previous 29.19 pesos.
