In order to contribute to the economic recovery in the country, the Ministry of Production (Produce) worked in the last two months to promote measures in favor of the micro and small businesses (MYPE) producers, fish farmers and artisanal fishermen.
In this sense, the head of Produce, Raúl Pérez Reyes, highlighted that one of the achievements is that between today and tomorrow the Emergency Decree will be published that will allow the granting of a bonus of S/ 500 in favor of 36,771 artisanal fishermen.
“A coordinated register has been made with the Regional Governments and the standard should be published today or tomorrow, so that we can then begin the implementation process through the Banco de la Nación and this bonus can be granted to each of the beneficiaries,” He stood out in the framework of the press conference for the 60 days in office of the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte.

He also indicated that the “Digital Producer” web platform was recently put into operation, which will allow, in a first stage, 200,000 organic, family and hydrobiological producers from the different regions of the country to be able to market their products nationwide. , substantially multiplying your business opportunities.
Similarly, the injection of S/ 150 million to the MIPYME Entrepreneur Fund was approved, as well as S/ 1.5 million to FONDEMI, for the implementation of the “MYPE Financial Alliances” program, which will benefit more than 11,200 MYPE ( 10,000 through the MIPYME Entrepreneur Fund and 1,200 MYPE through Financial Alliances), approved by Law No. 31683 on February 9, 2023.
Lastly, the validity of the Business Support Fund for the Textile Clothing sector (FAE-TEXCO) was extended until June 30, 2023, through DU No. 026-2022, published on December 27, 2022, which will benefit 50,000 MYPE in this sector.
More funds for A Comer Pescado
The head of Produce announced that in the coming days the regulation will be published that will allow an additional S/ 16.8 million to be allocated to the national program “A Comer Pescado”, which promotes the consumption of hydrobiological products in the most vulnerable populations in the country.
“We want to go from 2,000 to 6,000 tons of fish by 2023, the same that will be placed through 15,000 fairs that will be held in Lima and the interior of the country,” he added.
An additional S/ 17 million will also be allocated to the National Fisheries Development Fund (Fondepes) so that loans to artisanal fishermen can be increased.
“We want to grant 1,500 loans to fishermen and fish farmers, with the aim that they can improve their daily tasks and power their work equipment,” he said.
Likewise, he argued that in terms of MYPE and Industry, the Emergency Decree is about to be issued so that, through the MYPErú Purchases program, acquisitions are made for S/ 176 million in uniforms for the Peruvian National Police.
